How to Connect Toast POS - Part 1

This article will show you the first step that needs to be completed to connect your Toast POS

1. Login to your Account

NOTE: Upon new member login you will see this popup, you can also trigger it for existing accounts by visiting settings and adding a new POS.

2. Click on Connect POS

3. Select Toast as your POS option

4. Click Connect Toast

5. Copy Merchant ID

NOTE: This is used for connecting Toast, this ID is not relevant to the user outside of Step 9

6. Visit Toast Integrations Page

7. Click on Configure integrations

8. Open Stream Integration Settings

9. Paste Merchant ID into Group ID

NOTE: Use copied Merchant ID from Step 5 and paste it into the Group ID field under any locations you want to connect to Stream.

10. Click Apply to Save the changes

NOTE: Once you press apply, Toast notifies Stream of the connection and we begin the connection

11. Go back into Stream and Check Status

NOTE: Checking the status will verify the integration connect, once connected it will close the popup and you will see your menu begin to load.

12. NOTE: All Items are Read-Only

NOTE: Due to limited integration functionality edits are not enabled for Toast locations at this time
