How to Create a discount on Toast that reflects on DoorDash and UberEats using Stream Orders
In this article we will discuss how to simply create discounts on Toast that will reflect to your 3rd-party DSP channels instantly.

We've made it simple. Here's how you do it:
Configure two discounts within the Toast dashboard. One for check-level discounts, and one for item-level discounts. To do this go to the "Discounts and Promo codes" section of your Toast dashboard (see below)

From here you should create a check-level discount. This new discount needs to be an "Open $ Off" discount type, and should set the "Applies to" section to "Entire check" (see below)

Additionally, under "Advanced Settings", check the "Allow with other discounts," which allows multiple discounts to be applied to an order. (see below)

Next, create an item-level discount. This discount also needs to be an "Open $ Off" discount type, but should set the "Applies to" section to "Any Item." (see below)

No additional steps are needed on item-level discounts.Once you have set up these two discounts in Toast, you should see them in your "Discounts" page (see below)
From this point when you setup any discount with your 3rd-party delivery services that are connected with Stream, that discount amount will successfully be applied to the order when it is received on Toast.
