Stream - End of Year Update 2025

A look back at what we shipped, launched, and learned .. and a preview of what’s coming next.

New Online Ordering & Marketplace Integrations in 2025

In the second half of 2025, Stream expanded its ordering and delivery ecosystem, adding new DSP and online ordering integrations to support enterprise, mid-market, and international partners.

Recent Ordering & DSP Integrations

Storekit is a modern online ordering and delivery platform that helps restaurants capture direct orders and streamline fulfillment across web and mobile channels.

Favor is an on-demand delivery platform that connects restaurants with local drivers to fulfill food orders quickly and reliably across participating regions.

Opa is a digital ordering and gifting platform that helps restaurants drive direct revenue by selling menu items, gift cards, and experiences online.

Sauce is a direct online ordering platform that helps restaurants capture more orders through branded web and mobile experiences, integrated with key delivery partners.

Slerp is an online ordering platform that enables merchants to capture direct orders through custom web and mobile experiences. Alongside tools that simplify menu management and drive incremental revenue, Slerp also allows merchants to tap into delivery fleets giving them flexible last-mile fulfilment.

Why it matters: Expanding Stream’s ordering and marketplace ecosystem gives partners broader merchant reach, faster onboarding, and cleaner order flow across direct and third-party channels - enabling scale without added integration or operational complexity.

AI Partnerships & Automation Enhancements

In 2025, Stream doubled down on automation to reduce manual work and improve operational accuracy.

AI & Automation Partners

Loman - Loman’s AI phone agent captures every call and converts it into structured orders and reservations, integrated with Stream to route clean, POS-ready data across systems.

Kea - Kea’s AI voice assistant handles phone orders, reservations, and guest questions - now integrated with Stream.

Maple - Maple uses AI to streamline restaurant workflows and reduce manual tasks - now connected with Stream.

Why it matters: By connecting AI-driven ordering and automation tools through Stream, partners reduce manual intervention, minimize order exceptions, and ensure cleaner data flow -  resulting in faster issue resolution, more reliable operations, and higher order capture across channels.

Product Improvements & Feature Releases

We shipped meaningful platform improvements focused on scale, reliability, and partner flexibility.

Highlights

Automated Order Throttling - allows restaurants to set a kitchen capacity on items through Stream. Essentially this controls the flow of orders coming into the kitchen to prevent overwhelming during peak hours, ensuring more consistent delivery times and better overall customer experience

Stream’s POS Order Dispatch – enables delivery for any order: phone, text, or online, by routing orders through Stream’s API for real-time driver dispatch. Restaurants manage fulfillment centrally while expanding delivery reach without added complexity.

Regions - Regions enables multi-unit and multi-region brands to manage stores, menus, and pricing at a geographic level, with changes cascading instantly across all linked locations. This reduces operational complexity and makes it significantly easier for enterprise brands and partners to scale.

New Territories Launched

Stream expanded globally in 2025, enabling partners and merchants to operate seamlessly beyond North America.

Now live in: USA, Europe, the United Kingdom, and Australia

Merchant Growth & Partner Success Stories

Griolladh unified loyalty and ordering across pickup, delivery, and in-store channels by connecting Storekit through Stream, giving the team a complete customer view while simplifying marketplace order management through their POS.

Stream enabled Romano’s Macaroni Grill to aggregate orders from multiple virtual brands into their existing POS, eliminating the need for additional hardware while supporting brand expansion across locations.

Chip City gained faster, more reliable control over digital ordering by using Stream to keep menus and pricing in sync across delivery channels - without manual intervention.

OAKBERRY centralized multi-store operations with Stream, enabling self-serve onboarding, instant price updates, and consistent menus across locations as the brand scaled.

Themes we saw repeatedly: faster launches, fewer operational issues, and more confidence scaling across locations.
