What’s New at Stream - Q1 2026

Q1 has been all about one thing: giving operators more visibility and control across their integrations.

From real-time order performance to smarter alerts and faster menu management, this release is focused on helping teams move quicker, catch issues earlier, and operate with more confidence.

New Partnerships

We’ve continued expanding the Stream ecosystem with new partners across ordering, AI, and kitchen operations:

OrderYoyo (now combined with App4) brings a full direct-ordering stack, including branded web, mobile apps, and self-service kiosks, giving operators control over the entire front-of-house ordering experience. This partnership expands Stream’s footprint across the UK and Europe, particularly with growing multi-unit brands in the QSR segment. Operators can now unify direct ordering channels through Stream, helping shift volume away from high-commission marketplaces and toward owned customer relationships.

Certus AI brings a voice AI agent purpose-built for restaurants, answering every call instantly and handling orders, reservations, and customer inquiries end-to-end. Orders taken over the phone are injected directly into the POS, ensuring accuracy while freeing up staff from managing high call volume during peak hours. This partnership helps operators capture missed revenue from unanswered calls while improving order throughput, upsell rates, and overall guest experience.

Hosted Kitchens -> Wingstop - Stream is now working with Hosted Kitchens, a leader in tech-enabled, off-premise kitchen infrastructure. Supporting brands like Wingstop, their “Smart Kitchen” approach connects order flow, forecasting, and kitchen execution into a unified system built for scale. This partnership helps power more efficient, data-driven kitchen operations - improving speed, consistency, and throughput across high-volume environments.

Product Updates

1) Real Time Visibility & Alerts

Store Pause Alerts & Downtime Reporting

Know immediately when your store goes offline - and why.

We now provide:

  • Real-time alerts when a store is paused
  • Visibility into who or what caused the pause (DSP, POS, in-store action)
  • Downtime tracking so you can see how long locations were impacted

This solves a major pain point for operators who previously had no visibility into unexpected downtime.

Order Health (Live Performance Monitoring)

Understand how your integrations are performing - in real time.

  • Live success rate tracking (not delayed reporting)
  • Clear failure reasons tied to each issue
  • Real-time health meter for each integration

This gives operators the ability to catch and fix issues before they impact revenue.

2) Smarter Order Handling

Scheduled Order Preferences

Take control of how scheduled orders flow into your kitchen.

You can now choose how orders are injected:

  • Immediately when placed
  • Closer to prep time
  • Based on your operational preference

This helps reduce kitchen bottlenecks and ensures orders are handled the way your team actually operates.

3) Menu Management Improvements

Bulk Image Upload

Upload and assign images across your entire menu in one streamlined workflow.

  • Drag-and-drop uploads
  • Bulk assignment to menu items
  • Review + publish in a single flow

No more manual, item-by-item updates.

Menu Location Management

Control exactly where your menus are live.

  • Assign menus to specific locations
  • Roll out updates incrementally
  • Avoid recreating menus for different stores

This is especially useful for multi-unit operators managing regional or phased rollouts.
